ABOUT ERION
I'm Nika Ambrozic and I'm the owner of Erion Makeup.
I'm a makeup artist and hair stylist in Barcelona and I specialize in beauty campaigns (jewelry and cosmetic campaigns), commercial and corporate projects (headshots and conferences).
As a makeup artist I pride myself on being a team player and being technically versatile, but what I love doing the most are beautiful skin-oriented shoots: I’ll take working on a skincare or jewelry campaign any day!
I'm originally from Slovenia and I've been a Barcelona expat since 2016. I speak English, Spanish, Slovenian and can make do in French, so I’m used to working in international teams.

HOW I GOT HERE
If you had told me in 2010 that I’ll work in the beauty industry I probably would’ve called you crazy. At that point in my life my main goal was to work for the UE in Brussels as an interpreter. But life had other plans for me.
On the day of my entrance exam to the university program, I failed miserably. I left that room full of EU big shots an my university professors accompanied by laughter: I’d like to think that it was with me, not at me. What I thought was the worst moment of my life turned out to be the best gift.
I started looking at other paths: I knew I wanted to work in the creative team but to also run my own projects. It turns out that’s exactly what a makeup artist is. So here we are, 10+ years later and this job makes me happier than ever.
